This role is for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM specialist who can act as a functional architect and senior consultant on UK implementations. The position focuses on delivering and supporting Absence Management, Compensation and Benefits, and Payroll solutions for clients in the UK public sector. The work requires strong functional depth in UK payroll, pension, and absence processes, along with practical experience in Oracle Global Payroll and Absence Cloud.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion HCM solutions for UK clients, with particular focus on Absence, Compensation and Benefits, and Payroll.<\/li>\n
  • Provide functional architecture support for Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll implementations and ongoing support activities.<\/li>\n
  • Apply detailed knowledge of UK payroll, pension, and absence processes to design and deliver effective client solutions.<\/li>\n
  • Use hands-on experience with Oracle Global Payroll and Absence Cloud in a UK public sector environment to support implementation and service delivery.<\/li>\n
  • Take ownership of system integration testing, user acceptance testing, payroll parallel reconciliation, and hypercare support.<\/li>\n
  • Work with HCM delivery and reporting tools such as HCM Data Loader, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formula, and Payroll Batch Loader.<\/li>\n
  • Lead discussions with customers on integrations, data migration, and reporting requirements across Payroll, C&B, Absence, and related modules.<\/li>\n
  • Translate complex technical and functional solutions into clear, practical information for technical teams, business users, and senior management.<\/li>\n
  • Review and explain business process specification documents, configuration workbooks, testing materials, and change requests with stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Support the full software development life cycle, including conference room pilots, playback sessions, training content preparation, and delivery of training.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare regular delivery updates using RAG status reporting, identify risks and mitigations, and maintain RAID logs.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to release planning and broader delivery planning activities.<\/li>\n
  • Coach and mentor colleagues, including experience managing a team of more than five people.<\/li>\n
  • Work within Lean and Agile delivery environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
