Location<\/strong><\/td>\n| London<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n This position is for an experienced Guidewire QA Lead who will take ownership of quality assurance delivery for Guidewire ClaimCenter transformation work and for application maintenance and support programmes. The role sits within delivery and is focused on making sure testing is planned, coordinated, executed, and reported effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical partners to ensure software is released with a high level of quality and that testing activities support both project delivery and production readiness.<\/p>\n What you will do<\/h3>\n\n- Lead QA delivery across onshore and offshore teams, making sure testing work is organised and completed to the required standard.<\/li>\n
- Define the overall QA approach and ensure that testing covers interactions between systems, including alignment of test data strategy and coverage across teams.<\/li>\n
- Oversee testing across Guidewire xCenters such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate automation alignment across the platform, including Playwright\/GTF, and help resolve issues, assess effectiveness, and identify workarounds where needed.<\/li>\n
- Own smoke testing within the Guidewire testing framework, including the creation and ongoing maintenance of the relevant value stream\/xCenter assets.<\/li>\n
- Support defect triage during SIT and UAT when issues affect more than one system.<\/li>\n
- Validate smoke test results and release-readiness criteria before production deployment, including the final go\/no-go decision.<\/li>\n
- Check that designated functional coverage remains compliant after Ski resort updates.<\/li>\n
- Serve as the main contact for test requirements linked to new features.<\/li>\n
- Manage all testing and regression testing activities, with the ability to delegate work to the wider team where appropriate.<\/li>\n
- Review sprint testing goals and assess test scenarios and test cases to ensure they cover all Guidewire functionality and business requirements.<\/li>\n

- Run defect triage meetings and carry out root-cause analysis for defects.<\/li>\n
- Prepare defect completion reports at the end of each sprint or release.<\/li>\n

- Share testing metrics such as execution progress, defect trends, and RAG health with project stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis.<\/li>\n

- Partner with the project manager to plan the testing environments needed for functional, integration, performance, automation, and pre-production testing.<\/li>\n
- Ensure that functional, integration, end-to-end, stabilisation, and dry-run deployment test cycles are completed successfully.<\/li>\n
- Identify ways to improve QA processes and increase testing effectiveness.<\/li>\n
- Lead a Guidewire QA team, including planning, monitoring, and delivery management.<\/li>\n
- Review and optimise project plans so delivery targets are met on time.<\/li>\n
- Support implementation and AMS programmes, including estimation, stakeholder management, defect triage, and application enhancement work.<\/li>\n

- Practical experience with Guidewire claims processes and exposure to PolicyCenter.<\/li>\n
- Deep functional understanding of Guidewire ClaimCenter in a cloud environment.<\/li>\n
- Guidewire certification is expected.<\/li>\n
- Experience with claim, policy, and billing lifecycles and transactions in Guidewire.<\/li>\n
- Proven ability to lead a QA team and coordinate testing delivery across multiple teams.<\/li>\n
- Experience planning, executing, and monitoring project plans.<\/li>\n
- Ability to improve existing plans and deliver project goals within deadlines.<\/li>\n
- Background in implementation work and application maintenance\/support programmes.<\/li>\n
- Experience with defect triage, estimation, stakeholder management, and application enhancement activities.<\/li>\n
- Ability to lead a team and manage client stakeholders.<\/li>\n
- Working knowledge of Guidewire cloud and SaaS offerings.<\/li>\n
- Desirable knowledge of AI and automation-related skills.<\/li>\n
