This position is part of Google Cloud\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Global Solutions and Consumer AI organization and focuses on helping customers adopt innovative, repeatable, enterprise-ready solutions that create measurable business value. The role is centered on making Google Cloud the preferred platform for high-value, industry-specific use cases, particularly in the emerging area where traditional financial infrastructure meets Web3 and digital assets.<\/p>\n

As a Solutions Architect focused on Web3 and Digital Assets, you will serve as a key technical advisor for blockchain and decentralized technology initiatives. You will help major exchange organizations and other financial-market participants evaluate how these technologies can be introduced without compromising the stability, security, and operational discipline required in capital markets. The role calls for someone who can challenge conventional thinking, advocate for innovation, and balance technical possibility with commercial practicality. You will also help drive partnerships and co-innovation so that both Google Cloud and its customers can make meaningful progress toward the future of finance.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Guide executive stakeholders on where Web3 and distributed ledger technology can realistically add value in financial processes, with a focus on practical outcomes rather than speculative use cases.<\/li>\n
  • Convert ambiguous business needs into concrete technical plans, including full solution designs for digital asset trading, clearing, and settlement on Google Cloud.<\/li>\n
  • Bring together stakeholders from different parts of the business, reconcile conflicting priorities, and move new initiatives through commercial approval processes even when there is resistance or organizational complexity.<\/li>\n
  • Own Web3-related engagements end to end, including defining delivery milestones, preparing statements of work for partner-led delivery, and monitoring execution to ensure the resulting solutions meet Google\u00e2\u0080\u0099s standards for stability and security.<\/li>\n
  • Represent Google Cloud externally in the Web3 ecosystem by contributing articles, speaking publicly, and helping showcase the company\u00e2\u0080\u0099s co-innovation work with customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What you need<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or equivalent practical experience.<\/li>\n
    • Seven or more years of experience building and deploying cloud-based solutions.<\/li>\n
    • Five or more years working in financial services, especially in capital markets or digital assets.<\/li>\n
    • Direct experience with Web3 technologies, including blockchain and distributed ledger technology.<\/li>\n
    • Experience advising senior or executive stakeholders on technical strategy and integration decisions.<\/li>\n
    • Strong familiarity with advanced Web3 concepts such as smart contracts, including Solidity, zero-knowledge proofs, and consensus mechanisms, together with the security considerations associated with them.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of exchange businesses, including high-frequency trading, and how decentralized technologies can fit into existing financial operating models.<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of European digital asset regulation and sovereign digital currency efforts, including the digital euro.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder expectations in high-pressure environments.<\/li>\n
    • Deep domain expertise, comfort working through ambiguity, and a track record of owning outcomes and influencing others.<\/li>\n
    • English fluency, since Google states that English proficiency is required for all roles unless the posting says otherwise.<\/li>\n
    • A preferred working location selected from Frankfurt, Munich, or London during the application process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
