An expanding technology company operating in the tech-for-good and medical sector is looking for a senior iOS specialist to join its software team. The business is building a product that brings together IoT, GPS, and computer vision, with the aim of supporting millions of people around the world. This is a hands-on, high-ownership position for an engineer who can take responsibility for the iOS layer of a critical system and help scale the platform as the company grows.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Own the iOS development work for a fast-moving product and operate with a high degree of independence.<\/li>\n
  • Design, implement, and support a native iOS application built with Swift, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency approaches.<\/li>\n
  • Develop dependable Bluetooth connectivity between the mobile app and external hardware.<\/li>\n
  • Improve the performance of sensor-fusion and solver components, including Ceres-based logic, so they can execute in real time on mobile hardware.<\/li>\n
  • Address systems-level challenges such as memory management, threading, and the constraints of ARM processors to preserve very low latency.<\/li>\n
  • Bridge low-level C++ and\/or Rust code into the iOS front end, ensuring the mobile experience works smoothly with the underlying system components.<\/li>\n
  • Work alongside Robotics Engineers and Computer Vision Engineers to deliver software that supports critical real-world navigation use cases.<\/li>\n
  • Build and maintain software that can tolerate high-frequency data flows without unacceptable delays or outages.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the platform so it can serve more users and have a wider positive impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
