A well-funded AI engineering organisation is looking for a Software Engineer to help create a new AI framework designed for environments where control, compliance, and trust are critical. The work sits within a wider high-assurance initiative aimed at making AI safe and dependable for sectors such as financial services and healthcare, where accuracy, explainability, and accountability are non-negotiable. The framework is being built in Rust to take advantage of memory safety and performance, and it includes features such as mathematically provable output correctness, sandboxed execution, and intelligent filtering.<\/p>\n

What you will be doing<\/h3>\n

  • Designing, building, and supporting the framework\u00e2\u0080\u0099s core components in idiomatic Rust, with a focus on clean, maintainable systems code.<\/li>\n

  • Using large language models, AI agents, and coding assistants extensively to help write, test, and refactor software.<\/li>\n
  • Designing architectures that integrate foundation models into production systems while still meeting strict governance and compliance standards.<\/li>\n
  • Reviewing code produced by AI tools for security, performance, and correctness before it is accepted into the codebase.<\/li>\n
