An opportunity is available for a Semiconductor Product Engineer to join a client working on semiconductor products for wireless and automotive applications. This position carries broad responsibility for both production development and product quality, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that devices meet performance, reliability, and manufacturing expectations.<\/p>\n

What the role involves<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Taking full ownership of IC production development activities from a product engineering perspective.<\/li>\n
  • Managing the quality performance of IC production for wireless and automotive devices.<\/li>\n
  • Organising and planning qualification work and reliability programmes to support product readiness and long-term performance.<\/li>\n
  • Developing and implementing programmes focused on improving product yield.<\/li>\n
  • Working across the supply chain and coordinating with different internal departments to keep development, quality, and production objectives aligned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What the client is looking for<\/h3>\n

    • Previous experience in semiconductor product engineering.<\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge of IC test processes, including automated test equipment.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in quality and reliability activities, with ISO 9000 exposure preferred.<\/li>\n
    • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with suppliers and internal teams.<\/li>\n
    • A degree in engineering, a PhD, or an equivalent academic background in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
