The role is focused on building and leading a team of Enterprise Architects that supports the sales organization and helps drive revenue growth. You will represent Celonis at senior levels with customers, help translate strategic business goals into technical direction, and work across internal teams to remove blockers and keep customer opportunities moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>Success in the role is tied to the influence and outcomes of your team. Celonis will look at how the team contributes to new customer wins, customer retention, expansion opportunities, and the broader success of the sales organization and business.<\/p>\n<h3>What you will do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, coach, and manage a team of Enterprise Architects responsible for defining architecture, data strategy, and cloud direction for Celonis\u00e2\u0080\u0099 largest accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Represent Celonis as an executive sponsor during both sales cycles and post-sale engagements, including presenting strategic direction to customer executives and working with customer architecture and security stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Help the team design solutions that support enterprise transformation, capability mapping, and the adoption of emerging approaches such as Agentic AI.<\/li>\n<li>Act as the connection point between Celonis product and engineering teams and customer organizations so that technical services are delivered smoothly and at a high level.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Sales, Value Engineering, Product Management, Data Operations, and Information Security leaders to resolve technical issues and support commercial progress.<\/li>\n<li>Review the maturity of customer IT environments and guide account teams and ecosystem partners on integration, architecture, performance, and scalability considerations.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the creation of reusable delivery assets, customer-facing position papers, and presentations that communicate Celonis\u00e2\u0080\u0099 architectural thinking and innovation perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Support the sales organization by helping improve acquisition, retention, and upsell outcomes through strong technical leadership and customer engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What you need to bring<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 20 years of relevant experience, including a proven history of leading Enterprise Architects or comparable technical teams at a consulting firm or software vendor.<\/li>\n<li>A strategic mindset with the ability to connect technical recommendations to business value and customer priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience handling complex negotiations and presenting to senior executives.<\/li>\n<li>Deep enterprise architecture expertise, especially in capability mapping, enterprise modernization, and Agentic AI.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical grounding in data architecture, integrations, data operations, automation, and data languages such as SQL and Python.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to move comfortably between high-level architecture discussions and practical understanding of demo environments and technical implementation details.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, SaaS platforms including Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, and ServiceNow, cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and traditional on-premises enterprise environments.<\/li>\n<li>A master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification in an IT-related field.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English, with additional language skills in Spanish, French, German, or Italian viewed as a significant advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Preferred background includes Celonis certifications, experience leading projects involving OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines, and recognized certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Mulesoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, Informatica, TOGAF, or Zachman.<\/li>\n<li>Additional preferred experience includes work across at
