You will be part of a team that supports clients across different industries as they modernize their cloud operating models and turn cloud adoption into measurable business value. The role combines hands-on advisory work with broader contribution to the consulting practice, including business development, internal thought leadership, and capability building.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Advise clients on the organizational and operational consequences of cloud transformation, helping them develop digitally enabled business models built on cloud and data-driven, AI-ready operating models.<\/li>\n
  • Assess existing cloud operating models, service management practices, and organizational structures to identify where standardisation, automation, improved data flows, and AI-readiness can be strengthened.<\/li>\n
  • Turn assessment findings into future-state designs for operating models, service management processes, and organizational structures that are practical, measurable, and aligned to automation-first and AI-ready principles.<\/li>\n
  • Design target cloud operating models and service management frameworks that match the client\u00e2\u0080\u0099s strategic direction and cloud maturity.<\/li>\n
  • Define future-state workflows across service delivery, governance, and operations so that the resulting model supports efficient and scalable cloud operations.<\/li>\n
  • Measure and review the maturity and effectiveness of cloud operating model change programmes using operational metrics, service data, and other insights, then recommend improvements based on the evidence.<\/li>\n
  • Help introduce intelligent monitoring, service analytics, and AIOps-style approaches where they are appropriate for the client environment.<\/li>\n
  • Use strategy, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping, and organizational design skills to deliver business outcomes enabled by cloud, automation, and intelligent workflows.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to design, innovate, and implement cloud transformation initiatives.<\/li>\n
  • Advise on the practical use of large language models, copilot tools, and agentic AI within cloud operating models, including service management automation, intelligent triage, and AI-supported decision-making.<\/li>\n
  • Support clients in considering AI governance topics such as transparency and data quality.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches, and hosting clients at events.<\/li>\n
  • Take part in internal practice development through campaign work, internal think tanks, whitepapers, recruitment support, team events, and offering development.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in learning and development activities, including training and certifications, to support your own growth and the needs of the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • An ITIL v4 and\/or v5 Foundation qualification, or a higher-level ITIL certification, would be strongly valued.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on familiarity with GenAI tools and platforms, plus an understanding of how they connect with cloud operating models and ITSM workflows.<\/li>\n
    • A strong interest in agentic AI patterns and how autonomous agents are beginning to reshape IT operations and service delivery.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI, CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and modern delivery pipelines.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to manage and architect solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of cloud security good practice and compliance expectations so that cloud environments and automated services remain secure, resilient, and aligned with standards and regulations.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in a major consulting firm, or industry experience supported by a consulting background.<\/li>\n
    • Proven success in a matrixed organization and the ability to gain commitment from peers when selling and delivering consulting solutions.<\/li>\n
    • Experience creating propositions and delivering them.<\/li>\n
    • Curiosity and continuous learning in AI, shown through certifications, personal projects, published ideas, or active participation in AI communities or internal practice development.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to support business development using existing relationships, wider company relationships, and your own network.<\/li>\n
    • Flexibility to work from a London, Manchester, or Glasgow base while also being available for assignments that may require short-notice travel and time away from home.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
