The team is looking for someone with a few years of solid Linux experience who learns quickly, works in a structured way, and is comfortable taking ownership while working with a high degree of independence.<\/p>\n What you will do<\/h3>\n\n- Keep a fleet of on-site Linux servers running reliably, including troubleshooting and routine maintenance across Rocky and RHEL-family systems.<\/li>\n
- Help deploy and maintain the company\u00e2\u0080\u0099s on-premises compute stack using infrastructure-as-code practices and tools such as Ansible.<\/li>\n
- Build and support monitoring and observability capabilities so the team can track resource consumption, service status, and hardware failures, using platforms such as Prometheus, node_exporter, Grafana, and Zabbix.<\/li>\n
- Work through network issues involving DNS, VLANs, bonded interfaces, and routing.<\/li>\n
- Support storage operations, including network file systems, capacity management, and diagnosing performance problems.<\/li>\n
- Assist with the daily operation of a clustered compute and job scheduling setup, such as Slurm.<\/li>\n
- Help manage user identities and access, including onboarding and provisioning through systems like FreeIPA and LDAP.<\/li>\n
- Write and maintain documentation for infrastructure changes, and contribute to runbooks and playbooks that help the team operate consistently.<\/li>\n
