This position is for a senior AI engineering leader who can take advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI ideas and turn them into dependable, enterprise-ready systems. The role is centred on closing the gap between experimental prototypes and solutions that are embedded into real business operations. You will be expected to help scale AI responsibly, making sure the right engineering practices, controls, and safeguards are in place so that solutions can move from proof of concept to live deployment while creating measurable business value.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Design and deliver complete AI and machine learning systems end to end, covering data preparation, model creation, deployment, feature store design, model administration, and ongoing monitoring.<\/li>\n
  • Build solutions using current generative AI and agentic AI approaches, including frameworks and tooling such as ADK, LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, LlamaIndex, and related technologies.<\/li>\n
  • Convert business use cases into practical data and AI architectures, selecting the most appropriate cloud services from major hyperscale providers.<\/li>\n
  • Lead teams made up of people from different disciplines to deliver technically complex work successfully.<\/li>\n
  • Architect and implement generative AI solutions, including retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, agent-based workflows, and orchestration of large language models across Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.<\/li>\n
  • Embed safety, evaluation, and assurance measures throughout the AI lifecycle so that solutions remain ethical, understandable, and responsible.<\/li>\n
  • Work with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure the AI work delivers real business outcomes.<\/li>\n
  • Create client-ready demonstrations and proof-of-value materials, help shape proposals, and provide technical deep-dives that support business development.<\/li>\n

    • Hands-on experience deploying and scaling AI solutions on at least one major cloud platform, such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.<\/li>\n
    • Experience building and automating AI and machine learning pipelines with tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, Vertex Pipelines, Airflow, or Google ADK.<\/li>\n
    • Practical experience with generative and agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK, or similar tools.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to design and implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, agentic workflows, MCP integrations, and connections to large language model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face.<\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment plus containerisation tools, including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.<\/li>\n
    • Helpful additional experience includes AI evaluation methods such as prompt testing, A\/B testing, and quality assessment frameworks.<\/li>\n
    • Additional familiarity with modern data architecture patterns such as lakehouse designs, vector databases, and relational or NoSQL stores would be beneficial.<\/li>\n
    • Further useful knowledge includes API gateways, event streaming, and broader integration patterns.<\/li>\n
