This role is focused on shaping and advancing the company\u00e2\u0080\u0099s knowledge platform, with responsibility for the data layer that supports taxonomy, ontology, analytics, and machine-learning-driven products. The position is designed for someone who can take broad, uncertain problems and turn them into a clear product direction, using a mix of customer insight, technical understanding, and evidence-based decision-making. It is a UK-based remote position.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Set the strategy for the knowledge platform and define the roadmap and investment priorities that will guide its development.<\/li>\n
  • Lead discovery work to uncover new capabilities by identifying customer problems, testing ideas, and judging whether the underlying data and technical approach can support them.<\/li>\n
  • Turn complicated data opportunities into practical product outputs, including requirements, specifications, quality expectations, and recommendations on where to invest.<\/li>\n
  • Work in close partnership with engineering, data science, taxonomy, analytics, and commercial teams as products are designed, built, and improved.<\/li>\n
  • Make balanced product decisions by considering customer value, data quality, technical feasibility, and wider business priorities.<\/li>\n
  • Communicate sophisticated technical and data-product ideas clearly to audiences ranging from technical specialists to commercial colleagues and senior executives.<\/li>\n
  • Track developments in AI, analytics, labour market intelligence, and knowledge technologies so that useful new opportunities can be identified early.<\/li>\n
  • Use data directly, including evidence gathering and quality assessment, to test assumptions and guide product choices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What the role requires<\/h3>\n

    • A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree is preferred in a relevant field.<\/li>\n
    • At least three years of experience in a relevant role, with a track record of working independently and taking ownership.<\/li>\n
    • Meaningful experience in a data-rich environment.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with technical, analytical, or data-focused products, especially in product strategy, discovery, and\/or delivery.<\/li>\n
    • Comfort with technical subject matter such as data, analytics, AI, machine learning, taxonomy, ontology, or knowledge systems.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working across functions with customers, engineers, data scientists, product colleagues, and commercial stakeholders.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work hands-on with data, including exploratory analysis and evaluation of data quality.<\/li>\n
    • Strong interest in AI, knowledge representation, labour market intelligence, and the future of work.<\/li>\n
    • Strong product judgement, technical fluency, autonomy, and the ability to connect customer needs with data, AI, and engineering capabilities.<\/li>\n
    • The role is remote and based in the UK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
