About the role<\/b><\/div>\n

We are seeking a technical and strategic leader to own and scale Mistral\u2019s enterprise developer experience (DX). In this role, you will define and execute a unified strategy for documentation, SDKs, APIs, onboarding, and telemetry\u2014ensuring Mistral\u2019s platform is the easiest and most trusted way for enterprises to integrate and operationalize generative AI. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to eliminate friction, drive adoption, and turn developer insights into revenue impact. This is a unique opportunity to build a function from the ground up in a fast-moving AI company, where your work will directly shape how enterprises adopt and succeed with our technology.<\/div>\n

What you will do<\/b><\/div>\n

Developer Experience Strategy<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Define Mistral\u2019s enterprise DX vision, unifying documentation, SDKs, APIs, onboarding, and telemetry under a cohesive strategy.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Partner with Product and Engineering to create a seamless developer journey\u2014from awareness to integration\u2014across self-serve and enterprise entry points.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Enterprise Onboarding & Tooling<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Design and implement frictionless onboarding flows for enterprise developers (SSO, API keys, SDK setup, sandbox environments, sample integrations).<\/div>\n
\u2022 Drive the creation of technical assets (guides, reference apps, quickstarts) optimized for enterprise teams.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
API Experience & Telemetry<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Collaborate with Engineering to improve API ergonomics, error handling, observability, and versioning to match enterprise expectations.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Build systems to track and analyze developer behavior, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Cross-Functional Leadership<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Work with Product Marketing to articulate and measure the DX value proposition.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Align with DevRel on feedback channels (DX owns the experience, DevRel owns engagement).<\/div>\n
\u2022 Partner with Product, Security, and Legal to ensure enterprise readiness (compliance, SLAs, documentation audibility).<\/div>\n

Team Building & Operations<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022 Launch and scale the Developer Experience function, hiring and leading teams.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Foster a culture of data-driven iteration, using developer feedback to inform roadmaps, pricing, and onboarding.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Who you are<\/b><\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a08+ years of experience in developer experience, platform enablement, or developer tooling, with 4+ years leading & managing teams.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Builder mentality: equally comfortable defining strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute and iterate<\/div>\n
\u2022 Strong technical foundation: Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, authentication, observability, and CI\/CD workflows.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Proven track record of improving activation, adoption, and satisfaction through DX initiatives.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Skilled at defining KPIs (e.g., time-to-first-call, developer NPS) and connecting DX improvements to business outcomes.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Ability to influence Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to prioritize developer needs.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience working with enterprise developers and understanding their unique challenges.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Strong project management and organizational skills.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.<\/div>\n
