Role Summary\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n

We are building one of Europe\u2019s largest AI infrastructure offering that will provide our customers a private and integrated stack in every form factor they may need \u2014 from bare-metal servers to fully-managed PaaS. As a DevOps Engineer, you will join a fast growing team to help building, scaling and automating our computing management stack. You will be responsible for building fault-tolerant and reliable infrastructure to support both our internal processes and customer platform.<\/div>\n

What you will do<\/b><\/div>\n

As a Software\/DevOps Engineer in our Compute team, your primary responsibility will be to engineer robust and dependable infrastructure that supports both our internal operations and customer-facing platforms.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Design, build, and operate a scalable Kubernetes-based platform<\/b> to host large-scale AI and HPC workloads, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Own the full lifecycle of cluster management<\/b>, from bootstrapping and provisioning to global operations, by integrating and developing the necessary software components\u2014including automation, monitoring, and orchestration tools.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Drive infrastructure innovation<\/b> by designing workflows, tooling (scripts, APIs, dashboards), and CI\/CD pipelines to optimize system reliability, availability, and observability.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Champion a zero-trust security model<\/b>, strengthening IAM, networking (VPC), and access controls to safeguard the platform.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Develop user-centric features<\/b> that simplify operations for both sysadmins and end customers, reducing friction in daily workflows.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Lead incident resolution<\/b> with rigorous root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve system resilience.<\/div>\n

About you<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Successful experience in an Infrastructure Engineering role (SWE, DevOps, SRE, Platform…)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Strong proficiency in software development (preferably Golang) and knowledge of software development best practices<\/div>\n
\u2022 Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack…)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation<\/div>\n
\u2022 Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog…)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Exposure to highly available distributed systems and site reliability issues in critical environments (issue root cause analysis, in-production troubleshooting, on-call rotations…)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience working against reliability KPIs (observability, alerting, SLAs)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills<\/div>\n
\u2022 Self-motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Now, it would be ideal if you also had:<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience with HPC workload managers (Slurm) and distributed storage systems (Lustre, Ceph)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Demonstrated history of contributing to open-source projects (e.g., code, documentation, bug fixes, feature development, or community support).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This role is primarily based in one of our European offices \u2014 Paris, France and London, UK. We will prioritize candidates who either reside there or are open to relocating. We strongly believe in the value of in-person collaboration to foster strong relationships and seamless communication within our team.<\/div>\n

In certain specific situations, we will also consider remote candidates based in one of the countries listed in this job posting \u2014 currently France, UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain and Italy. In any case, we ask all new hires to visit our Paris HQ office:<\/div>\n
