A global software and engineering technology company is growing its engineering presence in Cambridge and is looking for an experienced full stack engineer to join the team. The work centres on a major public-facing web and cloud platform that is used extensively by engineering industries and communities around the world. What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Join a software engineering team that is expanding in Cambridge and help deliver new development work across the platform.<\/li>\n
  • Build and support features for a large-scale web and cloud product used by a global audience.<\/li>\n
  • Work within cross-functional teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web services.<\/li>\n
  • Take on full stack engineering tasks spanning both frontend and backend development.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to projects where your input can directly add value to the product and its users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What the role calls for<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Previous experience as a full stack software engineer, or in a similar software development role.<\/li>\n
    • At least four years of practical experience developing full stack web applications.<\/li>\n
    • Strong hands-on experience building user interfaces with TypeScript and React.<\/li>\n
    • Strong hands-on experience on the backend using Python or Go.<\/li>\n
    • GraphQL experience is a notable advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL.<\/li>\n
    • Exposure to containerised development, CI\/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes would be beneficial.<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of Elasticsearch would also be useful.<\/li>\n
    • The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and contribute to cross-functional delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Package and working setup<\/h3>\n

      • Salary in the range of \u00c2\u00a370,000 to \u00c2\u00a385,000.<\/li>\n
      • Hybrid working model with three days each week spent onsite in Cambridge.<\/li>\n
