About the Role:<\/b><\/p>\n

Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a motivated Junior or Intermediate Accountant to join its friendly and experienced team.<\/p>\n

Working closely with a Senior Manager, you will receive ongoing mentoring while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory services.<\/p>\n

Your responsibilities will include:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships<\/li>\n
  • Assisting with taxation compliance and general business services<\/li>\n
  • Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and other relevant authorities<\/li>\n
  • Working closely with senior team members to deliver quality work and excellent client outcomes<\/li>\n
  • Gaining exposure to tax planning and business advisory services as your experience develops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      About You<\/b><\/p>\n

      To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:<\/p>\n

      • A minimum of 18 months’ experience in Australian public practice accounting, within Tax & Business Services<\/li>\n
      • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting<\/li>\n
      • An interest in completing, or currently studying towards, your CA or CPA qualification<\/li>\n
      • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software<\/li>\n
      • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n
      • A positive, motivated attitude and a genuine desire to continue developing your accounting career<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
