The Role
\nWe are looking for passionate software engineers to join us in building the cutting-edge platform that empowers Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Simulation Engineers to create, train, and deploy physics-informed models at PhysicsX. You’ll take ownership of your work from implementation to production, ensuring quality, scalability, and observability at every step. By engaging with our Guilds and leveraging domain knowledge from end users, you\u2019ll not only refine your craft but also help shape the future of our software engineering practices.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Take part in building a platform used by Data Scientists and Simulation Engineers to build, train and deploy Deep Physics Models.<\/li>\n
  • Work on a focused, stream-aligned and cross-functional team (back-end, front-end, design) that is empowered to make its implementation decisions towards meeting its objectives.<\/li>\n
  • Gather and leverage domain knowledge and experience from the Data Scientists and Simulation Engineers using your product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What you will bring to the table<\/p>\n

      \n
    • A passion for the evolving craft of software engineering.<\/li>\n
    • The ability to work collaboratively and effectively in cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in both Python and Go.<\/li>\n
    • A willingness to take ownership from implementation to production, including testing, containerisation, continuous integration and delivery, authentication \/ authorisation, telemetry \/ observability \/ monitoring<\/li>\n
    • A working understanding of messaging in event-driven systems, which implies some experience using tools such as NATS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka for example.<\/li>\n
    • Some experience, professional or otherwise, developing applications for Kubernetes. CKAD is a plus, but by no means a requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
