You\u2019ll build skills in trend analysis, reporting, insight generation, and explore the use of AI and machine learning to support decision-making.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>What you\u2019ll be doing<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Our Data &amp; Analytics Industrial Placement is a 12-month programme where you\u2019ll gain valuable skills, knowledge, and experience to support your future career in banking. You\u2019ll focus on developing product knowledge, monitoring performance, and working on projects involving product design, customer research, and process improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">You\u2019ll work within the Mortgage Product and Business Services teams, where you\u2019ll build skills in:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Mortgage pricing, learning how we price our products to meet member needs whilst delivering the right commercial return<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Product development, helping us launch new products to meet member needs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Data and insight; building skills in data analytics to help us understand our customers better<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Customer management, ensuring our products meet customer needs, deliver fair outcomes and operate in line with regulations<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">We\u2019ll help you develop your analytical skills and commercial judgement, as well as giving you the opportunity to take insight and proposal papers to senior leaders and committees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">You\u2019ll gain operational and administrative skills, and your own individual learning pathway to help you get the most from your time with us.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0You\u2019ll also attend development workshops and complete a project with other placement colleagues, to support our Social Impact strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Location<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible.
