Credit Control Management:<\/p>\n \u00b7 Monitor and manage outstanding balances, ensuring that overdue payments are collected promptly.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.<\/p>\n 2. Debt Collection:<\/p>\n \u00b7 Chase outstanding debts by phone, email, or letter.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Negotiate payment plans with customers experiencing financial difficulties.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Ensure collections are in line with company policies and payment terms.<\/p>\n 3. Bank Reconciliation Analysis:<\/p>\n \u00b7 Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, investigating and resolving discrepancies between company ledgers and bank statements promptly. All banks should be reconciled each day and unreconciled transactions should be cleared promptly.<\/p>\n Ensure that all receipts are reconciled accurately.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Analyse reconciliation variances to identify patterns or potential risks, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve cash flow accuracy and financial controls.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Responsible for allocating direct debit payments against invoices and ensuring all payments are allocated accordingly.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Responsible for the matching and allocations of direct debit receipts and reconciling these on the financial system.<\/p>\n 4. Account Reconciliation:<\/p>\n \u00b7 Reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries in a timely manner.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Reconcile between the financial system and the practice management software system.<\/p>\n 5. Reporting:<\/p>\n \u00b7 Assist in preparing and presenting weekly\/monthly reports on overdue accounts, bad debts, and cash flow to the finance team.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Provide insights and analysis on payment trends and customer credit risk.<\/p>\n 6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:<\/p>\n \u00b7 Work closely with the Business Stakeholders to resolve any credit-related issues affecting customer relationships.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Liaise with the finance team to ensure that billing and invoicing processes run smoothly.<\/p>\n 7.
