The Role<\/p>\n

<\/strong>We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician (MD\/DO)<\/strong> with experience teaching residents in an outpatient setting and a passion for leadership in academic primary care. This position blends continuity care, resident education, and program leadership<\/strong> within a thoughtfully structured weekday schedule.<\/p>\n

Practice Model<\/p>\n

  • Morning continuity clinics with your own independent patient panel. Up to two learners (Internal Medicine residents and\/or medical students) paired with you.<\/li>\n
  • Afternoon resident clinic focused on dedicated precepting.<\/li>\n
  • No double-booking of your personal patient panel.<\/li>\n
  • Shared clinic call coverage within a collegial faculty group.<\/li>\n
  • 0.5 day of protected administrative time weekly with flexibility based on leadership and program responsibilities.<\/li>\n
  • Back-up: Phone call only, in rotation every 3rd to 4th week.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What You’ll Do<\/p>\n

    • Deliver high-quality, comprehensive outpatient primary care to a diverse and underserved patient population.<\/li>\n
    • Teach, supervise, and mentor Internal Medicine residents and medical students in the ambulatory setting.<\/li>\n
    • Shape resident education through curriculum development, bedside teaching, and longitudinal mentorship.<\/li>\n
    • Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives and academic projects.<\/li>\n
    • Take on leadership responsibilities within the clinic and residency program, aligned with your interests and experience.<\/li>\n
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to continuously improve patient care and learner experience.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
