As a Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the productivity and collaboration of our employees through the design and implementation of modern workplace technology solutions. You will lead significant projects aimed at improving employee productivity and advocate for automation to streamline processes.

Your responsibilities will include breaking down complex tasks, guiding design and technical decisions, and influencing the roadmap within your team. You will also build relationships with other engineering teams and internal stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities. Maintaining robust and reliable technology services is essential, and you will develop business continuity plans to ensure seamless operations during any disruptions.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of operational metrics and enhance systems for monitoring service health and performance. You will also maintain deep technical expertise in workplace technology areas, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting for complex technical issues.

Required Experience

  • Expert level experience supporting cloud-based and SaaS applications, including Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian products.
  • Strong experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of various IT systems, including email, document storage, networking, identity, and device management.
  • Expert level knowledge of browser-based applications and advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience in writing web-based applications or automating tasks in languages like Go, Python, Node/JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
  • Strong understanding of data security and identity management best practices.
  • Excellent documentation skills and a passion for teaching others.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace Developer tools, including Apps Script and Google Workspace APIs.
  • An interest in GenAI tools that can enhance employee productivity.
