What you will do

• Take an active role in verification work within the wider verification function.
• Help shape and execute verification plans, write and refine verification specifications, and drive the completion of functional coverage.
• Work closely with colleagues across different locations to keep communication clear and effective between sites.
• Share technical input with architects, using verification results to improve design decisions.
• Develop tests, investigate failing cases, and carry out detailed debugging, diagnosis, and triage of issues.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of common verification infrastructure used by the team.
• Use a mix of traditional UVM-based verification and software-oriented approaches where appropriate, including Python and C/C++.

What the employer is looking for

• At least 10 years of professional verification experience.
• Experience gained in a relevant industry, with a strong understanding of verification practices in CPU and/or ASIC settings.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to plan verification work effectively.
• Confidence working across teams and across different programming languages to uncover the underlying cause of complex technical problems.
• Practical knowledge of SystemVerilog, Python, C++, Linux, UVM, and SVA.
• Exposure to LLVM, GCC, SGE or similar distributed resource management systems, plus XML and XPath/XSLT.
• Software verification experience is welcomed, particularly where it complements conventional UVM-based verification methods.
