We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our London office. In this pivotal role, you will lead, build, and nurture teams of exceptional engineers, overseeing their technical execution and impact as we scale. You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager or Engineering Director and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our marketplace.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team of engineers across various platforms.
• Drive technical and product strategy by establishing clear project goals and guiding implementation choices.
• Promote a learning culture through active mentorship, assisting engineers and emerging leaders in their career growth.
• Enhance engineering practices by implementing processes that improve team efficiency and code quality.
• Maintain technical engagement by contributing to code reviews and technical design discussions.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

• Significant experience in people management, with at least 2 years leading engineering teams through performance reviews and goal setting.
• A strong technical background as a Software Engineer, with a proven ability to build user-focused products rapidly.
• Demonstrated success in team building, including hiring, onboarding, and supporting colleagues’ personal growth.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, managing both local and remote engineers to deliver high-impact projects.
• Experience collaborating across disciplines, working closely with Product, Design, and Operations to influence the broader roadmap.
