What you would do

• Help bridge business logic, architecture, and client delivery in a role that sits close to the market and to end users.

What Bloomberg is looking for

• Five or more years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or solution architecture in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, including how to troubleshoot, tune, configure, and optimize large-scale services.
• Experience working in real-time or high-throughput environments, ideally in capital markets or another similarly time-sensitive setting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly, influence decisions, and work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical familiarity with SQL databases and scripting languages that support integration and customization work.
• An advanced degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience gained through hands-on work.
• Experience delivering software directly to customers, whether through integration projects or development work.
