What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust RTL specifications for complex digital designs.
• Design and implement RTL for performance-critical blocks, with careful attention to power, performance, and area trade-offs.
• Take full ownership of design work packages, managing them from initial planning through execution and delivery.
• Define module architecture, interface boundaries, partitioning strategy, and implementation plans.
• Work closely with verification engineers to establish functional correctness through simulation and formal verification.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation covering design intent, interfaces, methodology, and functional requirements.
• Ensure all work follows coding standards, design guidelines, and recognised best engineering practice.
• Help foster a culture of technical excellence, quality, and ongoing improvement within the team.

What the employer is looking for

• A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• More than six years of experience in RTL design, digital design, or a closely related area.
• Proven ability to create RTL for complex, high-performance digital systems.
• Strong understanding of advanced design topics such as pipelining, clock-domain crossing, reset strategies, and power-management techniques.
• Experience with high-speed design methods and/or low-power design methods.
• Evidence of contributing to projects from specification through implementation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with verification engineers and other technical specialists.
• A motivated engineer who is comfortable taking ownership and working in a technically demanding environment.
