Qualifications Bachelor’s
Category General Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location Newcastle

This role sits within Capgemini Invent’s AI and Digital Workplace team, part of the wider Business Technology practice. The group helps organisations rethink how work is done by combining AI, digital workplace technology and organisational change. The focus is not just on rolling out tools, but on reshaping behaviours, processes and culture so that AI becomes embedded in everyday work and delivers measurable business value.

In this position, you will act as a senior consultant helping clients define how Anthropic Claude should be adopted in the enterprise and then making that strategy work in practice. The role blends AI strategy with change management, communications, training and adoption expertise. The aim is to help organisations move from experimentation to sustainable, AI-enabled ways of working, with Claude used in a secure, practical and value-driven way.

What you will do

  • Develop the enterprise adoption strategy for Claude, including Claude Chat, Cowork and Claude Code, together with the projects, skills and connectors that make the platform useful, while keeping the approach aligned to security, data and automation needs.
  • Design and deliver change and adoption programmes that help users overcome scepticism, build confidence and adopt new ways of working at scale.
  • Define value measures and key performance indicators, then track benefits from pilot phases through to enterprise rollout so that future investment decisions are evidence-based.
  • Lead delivery on Claude strategy and adoption workstreams, managing risks, handling complexity and keeping engagements moving as the technology and client context evolve.
  • Support the growth of the Claude practice by helping develop client relationships, identifying new opportunities and contributing to revenue generation.
  • Coach colleagues and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on AI workforce transformation, including how Claude can support different business functions and workforce groups, what change is needed and where value can be created.
  • Lead work redesign activities that use AI to improve productivity, employee experience and organisational outcomes through future-state practices and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Facilitate workshops to understand current ways of working and design future ways of working.
  • Run change and adoption programmes from pilot to scale, using communications, training, engagement, leadership alignment and tailored adoption plans.
  • Address concerns about AI and help build trust among users and leaders.
  • Create and deliver training and enablement sessions, from introductory Claude Chat sessions to practical labs on Cowork projects, skills and connectors, and Claude Code for technical teams.
  • Build champion networks, reusable prompt and skill libraries, and onboarding assets that help adoption continue as the Claude environment changes.
  • Support value measurement across the programme and help communicate outcomes to senior leaders.
  • Lead executive engagement activities that help business and technology leaders align around the AI vision and understand the results being achieved.
  • Run client workshops and transformation workstreams, managing small consulting teams where needed.
  • Produce strong client deliverables, recommendations and presentations.
  • Facilitate discussions between business, technology and change stakeholders.
  • Translate complex AI concepts into practical business outcomes that clients can use.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Bring thought leadership on AI and Claude trends for the workplace, with an emphasis on ethical use and responsible decision-making.
  • Help create new frameworks that connect frontier AI benefits, adoption metrics and productivity measures to business outcomes and strengthen the AI business case.
  • Experiment with new approaches to Claude adoption so the team can keep innovating and improve client service.
  • Identify opportunities to build your own and your team’s Claude capability through training and certifications.
  • Stay informed about competing technologies and assess the feasibility of deploying generative and agentic AI solutions such as Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini.
  • Support bids, RFPs, RFIs and proposals, ensuring governance is in place and deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Work with colleagues across Capgemini to understand client needs and shape new opportunities with the right solution design.
  • Contribute to solution development, including staffing input, skills planning and functional ideas across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Help develop enterprise Claude propositions and the value cases that support them.

What the company is looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Relevant technology certifications are welcome, especially Anthropic Claude and Microsoft certifications.
  • Practical experience with generative and agentic AI tools, with Claude experience being particularly important.
  • Experience leading change, training and adoption for another enterprise AI platform, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise or Codex, would be an advantage.
  • Ideally, at least four years of consulting experience and current experience in a consulting firm.
  • A highly collaborative approach, with the ability to build internal networks across Capgemini and promote Workplace AI services while also recognising when other teams’ capabilities are a better fit for the client.
  • A commitment to learning continuously and helping clients and colleagues develop their own capability.
  • The ability to improve performance and drive continuous improvement while helping create a bold and positive culture.
  • Experience securing buy-in from senior business and technical leaders and aligning them around AI value, supported by strong communication, presentation and analytical skills.
  • The ability to build, grow and coach cross-functional teams while supporting cohesion and wellbeing.
  • A strong ethical approach and a consistent commitment to doing the right thing in business and in leadership.
  • The ability to tell a compelling story about Workplace AI offerings and the business value they can create.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering large-scale change, communications and adoption programmes with measurable behavioural outcomes.
  • Proven use of strategy and innovation methods to solve complex analytical and technical business problems.
  • Confidence in designing and facilitating workshops and training for audiences from graduates through to executives, both face to face and remotely.
  • Strong project management skills, including comfort with agile principles and managing timelines, budgets and resources.
  • Practical working knowledge of Claude across Claude Chat, Cowork and Claude Code, including the ability to train others on each.
  • Hands-on familiarity with projects, skills and connectors, including MCP, and the judgement to choose the right Claude interface for the task at hand.
  • Understanding of how Claude is deployed and administered in an enterprise environment, enough to design enablement that keeps users within guardrails.
  • Awareness of Microsoft Copilot, particularly for clients using both Copilot and Claude.
  • Understanding of the risks associated with generative and agentic AI and the ability to assess and reduce those risks in an adoption programme.
  • Understanding of AI ethics, including the impact of human bias and ways to address it.
