What you will do

• Plan and carry out verification work for advanced ASIC designs that combine digital and mixed-signal elements, with the goal of proving that the designs behave correctly and reliably.
• Build and maintain UVM-based testbenches in SystemVerilog so the verification environment is structured, reusable, and effective.
• Write, debug, and run test cases that check standard functionality, performance behaviour, and unusual or difficult corner cases.
• Perform both block-level and full-chip verification, including simulation activity, coverage measurement, and regression management.
• Work closely with design teams to understand specifications and turn them into practical verification requirements.
• Analyse problems found during verification and after silicon bring-up or validation, then help resolve those issues.
• Support junior verification engineers through mentoring and help strengthen the team’s verification methods and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement across design and verification workflows.

What the employer is looking for

• More than five years of experience in verification work for digital and/or mixed-signal designs.
• Strong practical experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Familiarity with widely used simulation tools such as Synopsys VCS and Cadence Xcelium.
• Solid knowledge of digital design concepts, RTL, and the ASIC development lifecycle.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or shell scripts to support verification tasks.
• Understanding of formal verification, assertion-based verification, and coverage-led verification methods.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a careful, detail-oriented approach.
