Salary: $150,000 – 190,000 per year
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering
- Expertise in designing and developing data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Proficient in using AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, PostgreSQL, and EKS
- Experience managing ETL/ELT workflows for analytics and reporting
- Familiarity with tools like Airflow and dbt
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications
- Skills in optimizing Snowflake and AWS data workflows, including tuning SQL queries and indexing strategies
- Experience in automating data processes with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance protocols using AWS services
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
- Manage ETL/ELT workflows that support data processing for analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with various teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical documentation
- Enhance data workflows in Snowflake and AWS to improve performance
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate data tasks and ensure quality and reliability of data
- Enforce data governance and compliance measures using security features like AWS Lake Formation and IAM policies
