What you will do

• Design, build, and support the services and infrastructure that power AI agents.
• Develop Python-based backend services, making sure the APIs are well tested and clearly documented.
• Use agentic AI frameworks and prompt-engineering techniques to help create a scalable foundational platform.
• Work with MySQL or similar relational databases to manage structured data efficiently, including querying and optimization.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine priorities and turn the roadmap into working product improvements.
• Support front-end engineers by creating React and JavaScript components and wrappers for AI-driven experiences.
• Learn and improve RAG systems, including the use of vector databases, embeddings, and document chunking strategies.
• Build practical knowledge of how LLMs function and use that understanding to improve agent orchestration and model interactions.
• Monitor production systems, investigate issues, debug problems, and tune performance to maintain high reliability.
• Contribute across the stack where needed, including backend services, AI workflows, and front-end integration points.

What the team is looking for

• Strong experience working with Python services.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with React and the ability to help integrate AI features into front-end applications.
• A foundational understanding of large language models and enthusiasm for expanding that knowledge.
• Interest in prompt engineering and direct work with LLMs.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging ability, and collaborative working style.

Nice-to-have experience

• Previous exposure to vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or agent-based frameworks.
• Comfort working in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with containerized deployment tools and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
