An opportunity is available for a Clinical Director or Head Vet to take the lead at a purpose-built small animal practice in Lancashire. The position is aimed at someone who is ready to step into a leadership role and help shape the future of the clinic. It would be a strong fit for an established Clinical Director, an experienced Head Vet, or a senior veterinary surgeon who is prepared to move into a more strategic and managerial position.

What the role involves

  • Beginning in a sole-charge setting, with support from an experienced group of Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Patient Care Assistant, a receptionist, and a Practice Manager.
  • Taking responsibility for building and developing your own team as the practice expands.
  • Delivering excellent standards of care for both patients and clients.
  • Establishing, maintaining, and improving clinical quality and standards across the practice.
  • Owning the financial performance of the site and helping drive its commercial success.
  • Encouraging a workplace culture that is positive, open, and supportive for the whole team.
  • Working alongside a nearby sister practice that provides additional leadership and clinical support.
