What you will do

  • Design and scale competitive strategies that help AWS win important strategic opportunities.
  • Coach, support, and strengthen the capability of teams involved in closing large and complex deals.
  • Serve as the main source of AWS differentiation and competitive insight for a specific field sales segment and its leadership.
  • Explain the business value of AWS offerings in a way that connects customer objectives to cloud outcomes and supports executive-level conversations.
  • Build trust with senior decision-makers in customer organizations and within AWS, and use that influence to move opportunities forward.
  • Lead strategic workshops in person, with travel expected as part of the job.
  • Identify patterns in cloud adoption and the barriers that slow it down, then share those findings across the wider cloud ecosystem.
  • Create practical content for field teams and deliver training that helps them improve their effectiveness and knowledge.
  • Monitor market signals and customer indicators to uncover opportunities and feed those insights back into Cloud Intelligence so the team can improve its offerings.
  • Influence internal stakeholders by bringing a grounded view of market realities and helping sharpen AWS’s competitive position.

  • Ability to work with Cloud Solution Architects and explain the value of cloud workloads.
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and support digital transformation at senior levels.
