The role is centered on low-level embedded development for custom hardware. You would be working closely with electronics and systems engineers to create software that operates reliably in tightly constrained, real-world conditions where close interaction with hardware is essential.

What you will be doing

• Develop embedded firmware for new subsea IoT and wireless communication products.
• Write low-level software for custom hardware platforms used in harsh operating environments.
• Collaborate with electronics and systems engineers to support hardware/software integration and product development.
• Contribute to firmware that powers secure, real-time underwater data communication.
• Help build software for systems that must perform reliably in highly constrained embedded environments.

What the company is looking for

• Strong practical experience writing embedded software in C.
• Experience working with 32-bit microcontrollers, such as STM32 devices or similar alternatives.
• Knowledge of low-level drivers and peripheral communication interfaces, including SPI, I2C, UART, and GPIO.
• Background in embedded development where you have worked directly with hardware.
• Understanding of IoT systems and the communication protocols used within them.
• An engineer who is interested in advanced wireless communications and IoT technology.
