This role sits on the team introducing the company’s AI productivity API and SaaS products to manufacturing organisations across EMEA. The position is focused on winning strategic enterprise deals, helping manufacturers adopt safe frontier AI, and acting as a trusted commercial partner as customers explore how these tools can be used in production, supply chain, and operations environments.

The work is highly cross-functional and commercial in nature. You would partner with go-to-market, product, and marketing colleagues to sharpen the value proposition, improve sales methods, and ensure the company’s positioning resonates with manufacturing decision-makers. The role is also intended to help shape how the company expands into this market segment by identifying promising opportunities and turning them into repeatable sales motions.

What you would do

  • Generate new enterprise business and grow revenue within the manufacturing sector.
  • Manage the full sales journey from first outreach through to signed agreement.
  • Work through complex manufacturing organisations to identify decision-makers, explain the offering, and help prospects understand how the company can support their goals.
  • Build and run sales approaches that fit manufacturing procurement timelines, budget cycles, and buying processes, with the aim of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Assess the manufacturing market, including trends and competitive dynamics, and convert that insight into focused sales activity and campaigns.
  • Find and develop new use cases in production, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate across functions to make the company’s offering stand out for manufacturing use cases.
  • Navigate stakeholder groups that may include senior executives, administrators, IT teams, and procurement teams, and use that engagement to build consensus.
  • Bring customer feedback and market insight back into product discussions so roadmap decisions reflect manufacturing needs.
  • Keep improving the sales methodology by updating playbooks, templates, and best practices based on what is learned in the field.
  • Look for ways to improve sales processes so the team can work more efficiently and consistently.

What the company is looking for

  • At least eight years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, API-based products, or other emerging technologies.
  • A strong record of handling long and complex sales cycles in manufacturing settings and closing strategic deals.
  • Experience working through manufacturing procurement structures and gaining agreement from diverse stakeholders, including executives, administrators, and IT teams.
  • Extensive experience negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements within manufacturing procurement frameworks and policies.
  • A demonstrated ability to exceed revenue goals by managing pipeline development and sales execution effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence speaking to audiences such as plant managers, engineers, and senior executives.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing buying behaviour, decision-making patterns, and common pain points.
  • A thoughtful, analytical approach to market assessment, combined with practical and creative execution to capture opportunities.
  • Interest in advanced AI systems, or direct experience with them, and a belief that these systems should be developed safely and ethically for manufacturing applications.
  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Relevant study, training, coursework, or professional experience in a field connected to the role.
  • Experience expectations will vary depending on the internal level assigned to the position.
