Enterprise Account Executive Overview

Company Name Amplitude
Job Role Enterprise Account Executive
Qualifications Not Specified
Category Sales Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location London

This is an opportunity to join a leading AI analytics company as an enterprise sales professional focused on growth, new business creation, and expansion within a mixed portfolio of accounts. The role sits within a high-performing account executive team and is designed for someone who wants to help build the business, not simply maintain existing relationships. You would be working with enterprise customers and prospects, selling a sophisticated platform that supports product, data, and marketing teams in improving digital experiences and making faster decisions.

The company serves more than 4,700 customers, including major brands across technology, retail, media, and commerce. Its platform includes AI capabilities that help teams analyze, test, and optimize user experiences more quickly. The organization describes itself as customer-focused and values-driven, with an emphasis on humility, accountability, ownership, and a growth mindset. It also highlights a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, aiming to create a workplace built on psychological safety, empathy, and human connection.

What you will do

  • Own a portfolio that combines existing spending accounts with substantial expansion potential and a set of untapped prospects that you will actively pursue and convert.
  • Sell to high-growth enterprise organizations, typically in the range of about 2,000 to 10,000 employees and approximately 250 to 500 million in turnover.
  • Run complete enterprise sales cycles from initial discovery through demonstrations and executive presentations, making sure each stage reflects what you have learned from the customer.
  • Take a value-led approach to selling, focusing on business outcomes and customer needs rather than leading with features alone.
  • Represent and sell the full platform, while understanding how to position a complex solution that may involve multiple products and use cases.
  • Help customers assess their maturity in AI product development and guide them through their journey with practical, customer-centric advice.
  • Build pipeline through outbound activity, AI-assisted sales tools, support from SDRs, marketing initiatives, and collaboration with the partner ecosystem.
  • Win new logos that expand the territory and create a foundation for future growth in the following year and beyond.
  • Apply MEDDPICC rigorously throughout the sales process by qualifying opportunities carefully, identifying champions, engaging economic buyers early, and forecasting with confidence.
  • Serve as a product evangelist across marketing, product, and engineering stakeholders, adapting your message to both technical and commercial audiences.
  • Work closely with the broader internal team, including SDRs, Solutions Consultants, Partners, Customer Success, and Legal, so that all functions are aligned around customer value and deal progress.
  • Contribute to a culture of ownership and collaboration, helping the team build momentum rather than simply manage an existing book of business.

What the company is looking for

  • Background in enterprise SaaS or AI sales, ideally with experience handling deals in the $50,000 to $300,000 ARR range.
  • A proven hunter profile with a history of generating pipeline consistently and working in a land-and-expand motion.
  • Hands-on experience using MEDDPICC, or a comparable qualification framework, as part of everyday selling and deal management.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to engage C-suite stakeholders, uncovering the business value behind a solution and building long-term relationships.
  • A curious, empathetic mindset and a willingness to experiment with sales approaches rather than repeating the same process every time.
  • Ability to navigate complex deals with multiple stakeholders and to sell a platform solution that requires multi-threading across the buying group.
  • Comfort speaking to both technical and business audiences, including marketing, product, engineering, and senior leadership.
  • Interest in working in a hybrid environment that combines office collaboration with time spent in the field with customers and partners.
  • Motivation to join a team that values humility, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Working environment

The role is based in London, UK, and the team works in a hybrid pattern. You would divide your time between the office and being out in the field with customers and partners. The office is described as a beautiful space near Borough Market, with a strong sense of team spirit and shared goals.
