This role sits within Lenovo’s sales support career area and is based in Farnborough, Hampshire, in the United Kingdom. It is a full-time position focused on building and executing the channel strategy for AMD in close partnership with Lenovo’s internal teams and the external alliance partner. The role reports to the Global Strategic Partnership Director and is intended for someone who can act as both a strategic thinker and an enablement partner for business leaders.

The purpose of the position is to define the overall partnership plan with AMD and turn that plan into channel growth for Lenovo. A major part of the job is joint business planning: identifying where the partnership can succeed, setting the direction for how Lenovo will support the relationship across geographies and countries, and making sure the right stakeholders are aligned. Success in the role depends on strong engagement across AMD, ISO HQ, and regional teams, along with disciplined tracking of agreed measures so the business can understand the impact of the partnership and continuously improve it.

What you will do

  • Expand AMD business through Lenovo’s channel ecosystem, using the L360 framework to guide execution and support growth.
  • Maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders across Lenovo business groups, AMD, and Lenovo’s geo sales organisations.
  • Create business management reporting and dashboards that show AMD channel sales performance, funding usage, outcomes, and future opportunities.
  • Operate effectively in a matrixed organisation to drive programme participation, improve communication, and increase overall effectiveness.
  • Monitor budgets and financial results for key programmes against agreed KPIs, and recommend adjustments where needed.
  • Share successful approaches and best practices across the wider business and across geographies.
  • Keep reviewing performance and opportunities so the partnership continues to evolve and capture growth.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and ensure that AMD, ISO HQ, and regional teams remain aligned to the agreed plan.

  • Comfort dealing with uncertainty and the ability to identify workable approaches to complex problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Confidence in building and presenting visual strategies and explaining them clearly to different audiences.
  • A self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude with strong motivation and drive.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and other common office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and solid operational capability.
  • A technology-oriented mindset with understanding of industry technologies and a data-driven way of working.
  • Experience in channel sales and account management, with the ability to balance innovation and delivery.
