Salary: $124,000 – 164,000 per year
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen with Public Trust clearance
- Cisco certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP)
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience with data networks focusing on Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP) and Switching Technologies (Spanning Tree, VSS)
- Experience with IPSEC VPNs and DMVPN is essential
- Familiarity with Cisco Prime, Solarwinds, and ServiceNow is desirable
- Proficient in Cisco platform management, maintenance, and installation
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong collaborative skills with project teams and managers
- Excellent team player and mentor
- Experience with DMVPN/SDWAN is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to internal teams and Federal Agency regarding data networks and applications
- Collaborate with internal teams and the Federal Agency to design and implement data solutions utilizing Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP), Hub and Spoke Topologies (IPSEC VPNs/DMVPN/SDWAN), and Switching technologies (Spanning Tree, VSS)
- Manage and sustain data networks and systems using Cisco product lines
- Set up new sites according to enterprise standards
- Monitor network performance and take measures to ensure optimal operation
- Suggest solutions, enhancements, strategies, and architectures for data networks
- Address and resolve issues relating to data networks
- Implement and troubleshoot enterprise network-related solutions, incidents, and system outages
- Assist Network Architect in designing network engineering initiatives for both project-related and ongoing operations supporting network communications services
- Respond to escalated incidents and service requests from Delivery/Operations Teams
- Organize planned maintenance activities and manage planned/unplanned service outages alongside ongoing project-related support activities
