Salary: £80,000 – 80,000 per year
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Proficiency in the design and build of services such as Compute, Networking, Storage, and Security
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud environments
- Proven ability to build relationships with and manage stakeholders in key business areas
- Experience in mentoring and providing guidance to other engineers
- Familiarity with integrating OCI monitoring with third-party tools like Splunk, BMC, etc.
- Strong technical skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining OCI infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and mentoring to OCI platform engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Support platform operations and project delivery through effective resource management and planning
- Act as a point of escalation and subject matter expert for OCI related matters
- Lead root cause analysis with a focus on resilience and prevention
- Establish a proactive observability strategy for critical Oracle services
- Design and implement enterprise-grade logging and monitoring solutions using OCI tools
- Integrate OCI monitoring with third-party SIEM, ITSM, and APM tools
