Valtech is seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to join its UK team in a permanent hybrid role. The company describes itself as an experience innovation partner working with major global brands, and this position sits within a culture that emphasizes growth, learning, international opportunity, and meaningful impact. The role is intended for a seasoned product leader who can operate confidently in complex, uncertain environments and help shape both client outcomes and the wider Product practice.

In this position, you would lead some of the most challenging agile programmes and product initiatives, often spanning multiple teams and disciplines. You would work alongside Valtech’s designers, engineers, and testing specialists to create innovative, high-quality products that deliver value for users and commercial value for clients. The work covers the full product lifecycle, from discovery and hypothesis formation through delivery, growth, and optimisation.

What you would do

  • Take ownership of the most complex and ambiguous product work, providing leadership across programmes that involve several teams and specialist disciplines.
  • Collaborate with in-house developers, designers, and testing engineers to deliver products that are both innovative and robust.
  • Work across the entire lifecycle of a product, including discovery, hypothesis testing, execution, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team is building the right solution by aligning product decisions with business objectives, user needs, and a strong commercial rationale.
  • Partner with designers, engineers, strategists, delivery leads, and senior client stakeholders to define product and service direction, set priorities, validate assumptions, and agree success measures.
  • Guide programme teams in a product leadership capacity and support other Product Managers as well as the wider delivery organisation.
  • Contribute to commercial activity by helping with pitches, proposals, and business development efforts.
  • Influence the evolution of Valtech’s Product practice by helping define strategy, improving craft and capability, and coaching colleagues.
  • Support the learning and development of teammates through mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
  • Champion practical use of AI in product management by embedding it into your own workflow, encouraging better AI-enabled practices across the team, and helping design and deliver AI-powered products and capabilities for clients and users.

What Valtech is looking for

  • Strong passion for creating world-class digital products and services.
  • A proven record of delivering successful products or services from start to finish, with clear evidence of results and impact.
  • Experience influencing senior and executive stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach that works well with both internal colleagues and client teams.
  • A mindset that values experimentation, learning, and ongoing improvement.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities from multiple senior stakeholders while keeping delivery moving.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and switching between strategic thinking and detailed execution depending on what the situation requires.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools and technologies in day-to-day product management work, along with confidence promoting AI-enabled ways of working within a team.
  • Experience building and launching AI-powered products or capabilities for organisations and their users.
  • Ability to create your own tools, scripts, or workflows that extend AI beyond a standard chat-based interface.
  • Broad experience across the product or service lifecycle, ideally including discovery, strategy, build, run, and optimisation, with preference for experience in commerce.
  • Deep experience in at least one stage of the product lifecycle or within a particular industry.
  • Experience selling work or securing investment for product ideas.
  • Background leading teams in large, ambiguous, or otherwise demanding environments.
  • Experience coaching teams and helping underperforming groups become high-performing agile teams.
  • Ability to step back, understand the broader system, break down silos, and identify leverage points in complex environments.
  • Experience mentoring Product Managers or managing them directly.

Valtech also makes clear that candidates do not need to meet every listed qualification to be considered. The company encourages applications from people with different backgrounds and values transferable skills, diverse perspectives, and a willingness to learn.

Valtech says it is committed to building experiences that work for all kinds of people, starting with its own teams. The company emphasizes an inclusive culture where people are supported to grow, thrive, and achieve their goals, and it states that people from all backgrounds belong there. Benefits and working arrangement

  • This is a permanent UK-based position.
  • The role follows a hybrid working model.
  • A competitive compensation package is offered.
  • There are career progression opportunities, including international mobility.
  • Employees have access to learning and development support, including training, tools, and input from industry experts.

How to apply

After you submit an application, Valtech’s Talent Acquisition team will review it. If your background matches the role, they will contact you about the next steps. The application form asks for standard details such as contact information, a CV, a cover letter, salary expectations, and how you heard about the role.
