This role is a senior partnership and go-to-market position focused on Cisco security within Wipro’s business in the UK and Europe. The person in this role will help drive growth across Cisco’s security portfolio by strengthening alignment with Cisco teams, expanding reseller engagement, and enabling field sellers and partners to win more security business together. The position calls for someone who understands Cisco’s security ecosystem in depth and can influence both technical and commercial stakeholders to move opportunities forward.

What the role involves

  • Act as the main regional specialist for Cisco security solutions, including firewalls, XDR, SASE, Zero Trust, Duo, Umbrella, Secure Firewall, and Talos-powered threat intelligence.
  • Convert Cisco’s security strategy and product direction into practical go-to-market actions that internal teams and reseller partners can use.
  • Identify the most promising security growth areas and launch targeted initiatives to increase adoption and market penetration.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with Cisco security leadership, channel teams, PSS teams, and partner account managers.
  • Support resellers in effectively positioning, packaging, and selling Cisco security offerings.
  • Help partners navigate Cisco incentives, rebates, deal registration, and MSSP-related programs.
  • Generate joint pipeline through account mapping, co-selling, and focused security campaigns.
  • Track and forecast security revenue performance, ensuring there is clear visibility into major opportunities.
  • Work alongside Cisco field security specialists to speed up deal progression and clear obstacles.
  • Create security-specific value propositions, competitive messaging, and sales assets that can be used by field teams.
  • Train internal sales teams and reseller partners on Cisco security programs, pricing structures, and technical differentiators.
  • Partner with marketing to deliver security events, workshops, and demand-generation activity.
  • Manage involvement in Cisco security partner programs, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain strong operational discipline across deal registration, co-sell processes, and partner governance.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with Cisco security leadership and key reseller partners.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, delivery, and product teams to keep security strategy aligned across the organization.
  • Provide market insight on competitors, pricing trends, and the changing threat environment.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Cisco’s security ecosystem, partner programs, and go-to-market motions.

Experience and qualifications

  • Applicants should have 8 to 12 or more years of experience in security alliances, channel management, cybersecurity sales, or partner development.
  • A strong understanding of Cisco’s security portfolio, partner programs, and security go-to-market motions is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven record of driving security revenue through reseller or MSSP channels.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills are essential.
  • The role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with many stakeholders.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or CISSP would be an advantage.
  • Preferred candidates may already have relationships with Cisco security leadership, PSS teams, or major security resellers.
  • Experience with SASE, XDR, Zero Trust, and cloud-delivered security solutions is also preferred.
