This senior leadership opportunity sits within a growing European SAP practice and focuses on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud for finance and professional services. The position is intended for an experienced SAP leader who can shape transformation strategy, guide major client engagements, and help deliver complex programs end to end. The role is based in London, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Lead SAP transformation initiatives for clients, bringing together business understanding, technical depth, and delivery leadership.
• Act as a senior point of contact for client stakeholders and confidently manage conversations with finance leaders and other executive decision-makers.
• Define and steer the overall solution approach for SAP S/4HANA programs, ensuring the design supports business goals and delivery excellence.
• Take ownership of complex transformation work from early engagement through implementation and delivery.
• Support the full engagement lifecycle, including setting up the engagement, planning staffing, handling pricing and billing considerations, and managing work-in-progress.
• Lead implementation work for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud in a professional services context.
• Contribute to solutioning for localization needs, tax requirements, e-invoicing, DRC, and PEPPOL integration.
• Work on custom development activities and integrations with systems that sit upstream or downstream of SAP.
• Support solution design and process understanding around time and expense management.
• Bring awareness of revenue recognition considerations into the overall finance solution.

What the role requires

• Substantial experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations for professional services organizations.
• Experience working in the services sector and understanding the operating model of service-based businesses.
• Strong knowledge of engagement management processes, including setup, resourcing, pricing, billing, and WIP control.
• Practical experience with localization, tax, e-invoicing, DRC, and PEPPOL-related integration work.
• Experience building or supporting custom developments and connecting SAP with other enterprise systems.
• Good understanding of time and expense systems and how they fit into finance and delivery processes.
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition in a service delivery environment.
• Preferred exposure to 3SL and parallel landscape environments.
• Preferred experience integrating SAP with CRM, Concur, time entry solutions, and data warehouse platforms.
• Preferred background in e-invoicing and e-billing.
• Preferred familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and CALM.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to approach problems in a structured way.
• Self-starter mindset with flexibility and initiative.
• High standards for customer service and solution quality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead and influence discussions with senior client stakeholders, including CFOs and CXOs.
