What you will do

• Take ownership of consulting engagements from the earliest stages, starting with business process analysis and problem definition and continuing through solution design, development, deployment, and rollout.
• Act as the central coordinator for delivery activities, helping teams understand the approach, outputs, and timelines needed to move work forward successfully.
• Provide expert guidance during architecture and design discussions, using your domain knowledge to advise on the best solution direction.
• Contribute to business pursuit work, client advisory conversations, and internal capability-building efforts.
• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA QM solutions end to end, including inspection planning, results recording, usage decisions, and quality notifications.
• Configure and improve QM transactions such as QA11, QA12, QA32, and QA33, including the related selection logic, list layouts, and table controls.
• Maintain and govern global QM template content, making sure objects such as quality score procedures, usage decisions, follow-up actions, inventory postings, and code groups follow agreed naming and rollout standards.
• Design batch-related quality processes, including quality batch status handling, expired batch scenarios, and stock-type alignment using enhancements and background processing.
• Translate business needs into WRICEF requirements and functional specifications for QM developments such as batch automation, job alerts, and inspection lot controls.
• Improve data integrity by spotting inconsistencies, defining validation rules, and supporting controlled correction or deletion methods where needed.
• Define and confirm reporting needs for quality management, including traceability, event-based reporting, and capture of timestamps, users, and movement data.
• Shape Fiori app requirements and help ensure the resulting experience is practical, efficient, and widely adoptable.
• Partner with security teams to align access design with business requirements and resolve authorization-related issues.
• Make sure the solution remains aligned with global template standards and integrates properly with related SAP modules such as MM, PP, and SD.

Skills and experience needed

• Strong SAP background with deep functional expertise in SAP QM; S/4HANA experience is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of inspection processing, batch management, quality notifications, and QM reporting.
• Proven track record delivering full end-to-end QM implementations and global rollout programs.
• Experience working within global template governance and standardization models.
• Ability to define WRICEF objects and produce clear functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience leading the design, configuration, and rollout of SAP S/4HANA QM processes.
• Knowledge of quality batch status handling, expired batch management, and stock-type alignment approaches.
• Ability to define and validate reporting requirements for traceability and operational visibility.
• Experience defining Fiori app requirements with attention to usability and performance.
• Ability to work with security teams on role-based access and authorization troubleshooting.
• Understanding of integration with MM, PP, and SD.
• Preferred background in life sciences or pharmaceutical settings.
• Preferred experience in regulated industries, including familiarity with audit, compliance, and data governance expectations.
• Preferred awareness of SAP S/4 EWM at a high level, including roadmap knowledge.
• Preferred exposure to LIMS or other external quality platforms.
• Preferred familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and UX design principles.
• English is required; additional languages are welcome.
• Strong documentation skills, including the ability to produce business blueprint documents, functional design documents, SOPs, and training materials.
• Analytical, structured, and methodical problem-solving skills, with disciplined defect and issue handling.
• Consultative and presales-oriented mindset, including client advisory, value positioning, and roadmap definition.
• Familiarity with delivery tools such as Solution Manager, JIRA/ALM, and ChaRM.
• Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, globally distributed delivery environments.
• High levels of initiative, flexibility, customer orientation, quality focus, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
