Infosys is looking for a highly experienced SAP professional to join its expanding SAP practice in a principal consulting capacity. The position is centered on leading solution architecture, supporting client engagements, and driving delivery excellence across SAP S/4HANA transformation work. What you will do

• Take ownership of SAP solution design and architecture across several end-to-end implementations and major transformation programs.
• Lead client work from the earliest planning stages through execution, including Phase 0 activities and readiness assessment.
• Support a range of S/4HANA delivery models, including Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid programs.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps, evaluate readiness, and shape the overall strategy for change.
• Use SAP implementation, administration, and optimization tools and methods as part of project delivery.
• Develop solution proposals, prepare effort estimates, and help respond to formal requests for proposal.
• Mentor and coordinate project teams, helping ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to agreed timelines.
• Represent Infosys in client discussions with professionalism, confidence, and strong interpersonal communication.
• Stay informed about SAP innovation and share useful knowledge internally with colleagues and teams.
• Contribute expertise across SAP S/4HANA-related areas such as EWM, TM, Business AI, LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM where applicable.

What the role requires

• Substantial SAP consulting experience at a senior level, suitable for a Principal Consultant position.
• Strong depth in either functional SAP areas such as Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Sales, or technical areas such as ABAP, Integration, Security, or Basis.
• Practical, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and related consulting work.
• At least four complete SAP project implementations delivered end to end.
• Experience leading teams on SAP engagements.
• Exposure to at least two S/4HANA project types from Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid.
• Experience with transformation preparation or Phase 0 planning work.
• Ability to work with SAP toolchain components for implementation or administration purposes.
• A current SAP certification in a relevant discipline.
• Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to engage effectively with middle-management stakeholders.
• Ability to build solution proposals and estimate effort accurately.
• A flexible, collaborative, and delivery-focused mindset.
• Additional breadth across multiple SAP modules or skill areas is preferred.
• Publications, thought leadership, or similar contributions in SAP or industry topics are also preferred.
