Amazon Ads focuses on helping brands and agencies achieve measurable results through advertising. Its portfolio includes streaming audio, sponsored content, premium video, and custom ad formats, all built on Amazon’s technology and audience insights to help advertisers reach people in meaningful ways. The business supports a variety of buying and pricing approaches, including self-service, managed service, and programmatic buying, so customers can use Amazon Ads to build awareness, improve consideration, and drive sales both on and off Amazon.

This position sits within the Audio Sales go-to-market function and is aligned to the Large Customer Sales organization. The role works closely with account teams, agency development managers, global go-to-market partners, and product teams to shape how Amazon’s audio advertising solutions are positioned and adopted across Europe. The successful candidate will help define scalable approaches for the market, support internal teams with clear messaging and enablement, and represent Amazon Ads externally when engaging with the industry.

What you will do

  • Own the European audio sales go-to-market strategy and act as the key link between product organizations and sales teams across the region.
  • Create and execute broad GTM plans that can be adapted to different local market needs and requirements.
  • Work with account teams to build audio advertising strategies and solutions that increase advertiser adoption of Amazon’s audio products.
  • Help customers ensure their audio investment fits into their wider Amazon marketing strategy.
  • Develop and scale vertical-specific strategies across the Large Customer Sales organization.
  • Collaborate with service and operations teams on the launch and support of new and emerging products.
  • Partner with Large Customer Sales and Marketing to create narratives that clearly set Amazon Ads apart and connect its offerings to customer goals and business outcomes.
  • Represent Amazon Ads at external industry events and use those engagements to support annual commitment goals.
  • Work with other sales GTM teams to build and maintain enablement frameworks that help internal teams explain Amazon’s audio media and ad tech capabilities to customers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to shape compelling stories around Amazon’s advertising solutions.
  • Monitor industry developments, interpret what they mean for the business, and share those insights with sales teams and customers.
  • Contribute as an individual contributor in a senior sales environment while collaborating with multiple leadership teams.

What Amazon is looking for

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at an organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, including process creation and release coordination.
  • Professional background in go-to-market, business development, sales, or consulting.
  • Experience negotiating, structuring, and executing business agreements.
  • Experience working in digital audio and programmatic advertising.
  • Hands-on experience buying, planning, packaging, and selling digital audio and/or terrestrial radio, both directly and programmatically.
  • Strong understanding of the streaming audio landscape.
  • Experience negotiating and closing deals.
  • Confidence leading discussions with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite contacts.
  • Ability to analyze data and turn it into practical business recommendations.
  • A curious and creative mindset, with the ability to develop innovative solutions for advertisers.
  • Comfort working closely with the advertising community and explaining Amazon’s advantages clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with account teams, agency development managers, product, marketing, and other internal partners.
