This position sits within the Professional Services organization and is a remote global role. It reports to the Senior Director of Customer Success Engineering and focuses on leading the team responsible for the technical practice layer that supports Professional Services delivery worldwide. The role is designed for someone who can combine hands-on delivery leadership with the ability to build scalable practice assets and operating frameworks that help teams deliver consistently across regions.
The Senior Manager will oversee the Practice Architects who work at the front line of Professional Services engagements. A major part of the job is owning the Plan, Design, and Implement stages of the PDIOO lifecycle, which form the operational backbone for how Professional Services engages on new, complex, and high-priority customer work. In addition to driving delivery quality, the role also has a broader mandate to strengthen the practice itself by creating the content, collateral, reference designs, and delivery frameworks that allow the field organization to operate at a consistent standard across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific and Japan.
What you will be responsible for
- Managing a globally distributed team of Practice Architects and Senior Practice Architects, including leadership, line management, direction setting, and support for professional growth.
- Taking ownership of the Plan, Design, and Implement phases of the PDIOO model for the Practice Architect function, ensuring engagements are technically rigorous, well organized, and delivered to quality expectations.
- Supporting direct project delivery while also helping Professional Services scale through practice development work.
- Producing and maintaining the materials needed to scale delivery in the field, including playbooks, solution guides, reference architectures, and enablement resources.
- Maintaining strong technical depth across the product portfolio and zero trust architecture so you can engage credibly with Practice Architects, Professional Services leadership, and cross-functional partners.
- Acting as the primary connection point between Global Technology Practices and Professional Services leadership, Professional Services consultants, and Customer Success Engineering leaders.
- Managing cross-functional dependencies so that delivery execution and practice development stay aligned across global regions.
- Helping ensure the team can support new, complex, and high-priority customer projects with the right structure, technical quality, and operational discipline.
- Balancing strategic practice-building work with direct delivery responsibilities in order to improve utilization and strengthen the overall capability of the Professional Services organization.
What success looks like
- You are comfortable operating in uncertain environments and can help create structure where there is none.
- You take ownership naturally and are motivated by the mission and the outcomes, not just by activity.
- You can move fluidly between strategy and execution, using a broad range of skills to solve problems at both levels.
- You are energized by difficult challenges and focus on finding practical solutions that create meaningful impact.
- You work well in a high-trust, feedback-rich environment and are able to give and receive candid input with clarity and respect.
- You are committed to learning, actively seek feedback, and continually work to improve your effectiveness as a partner and teammate.
- You bring purpose and enthusiasm to your work and want to contribute to a team that is building secure, scalable outcomes for customers.
What the company is looking for
- Proven experience leading and developing technical teams that are distributed across multiple geographies.
- Deep technical knowledge of zero trust architecture and enterprise-scale technology deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both customer delivery responsibilities and the creation of practice content.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to hold teams accountable for commitments.
- Experience leading technical delivery practices in a high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity environment is desirable.
- Experience building and launching global enablement programs that improve field delivery quality in measurable ways is also desirable.
