What the role involves
This is a senior leadership role within the People & Change consulting practice. The person in post will help grow strategic accounts, support the creation of new opportunities, and contribute to the firmâs reputation as a transformation partner. The role combines client advisory work, business development, delivery leadership, team development, and market-facing thought leadership.
- Lead major people and transformation programmes that produce measurable business results.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, particularly CHROs and other executive leaders.
- Originate, shape, and convert consulting opportunities that support profitable growth.
- Deliver complex engagements involving multiple locations and delivery teams, while remaining accountable for commercial outcomes.
- Coach and develop consulting teams so they grow in capability and future leadership potential.
- Contribute to the practiceâs thought leadership and help define go-to-market propositions.
- Support growth across strategic accounts by using current capabilities and creating new areas of opportunity.
- Introduce wider Wipro Consulting and Wipro ecosystem services where relevant to client needs.
Areas of focus
The role is expected to support and advise clients across a range of transformation themes, including AI-enabled HR and workforce transformation, enterprise platforms, learning and development services, organisation design, target operating model design, and digital and AI adoption. Business development and client leadership
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills with clients, ecosystem partners, and internal teams.
- Show a proven ability to generate consulting work from both new and existing accounts.
- Take ownership of customer relationships and help drive them forward at senior level.
- Bring a proactive, self-sufficient approach to identifying and supporting business development opportunities.
- Deliver consulting work effectively while maintaining a commercial mindset.
- Handle multi-shore consulting projects with distributed teams and deliver sustainable value to clients.
Transformation leadership
- Act as a visible advocate for People & Change within the CHRO community.
- Help reposition Wipro as a strategic partner that can accelerate and sustain client value.
- Promote digital adoption and digital transformation across industries.
- Shape transformation propositions that use core and disruptive technologies to solve business problems and deliver tangible benefits for large enterprise clients.
- Lead strategic execution, manage change, build partnerships, motivate teams, and achieve results.
- Apply strong programme and consulting disciplines such as project and programme management, executive storytelling, and commercial management.
Talent leadership
- Lead in a collaborative and motivating way, bringing diverse teams together around shared outcomes.
- Mentor and develop high-potential people into future consulting leaders.
- Work closely with HR and recruitment leaders to execute organisational people strategy.
- Look for opportunities to attract strong and diverse talent at all levels.
Thought leadership and market presence
- Bring a strong understanding of the CHRO agenda and the strategic issues affecting people and change leaders.
- Develop and deliver strategic people and change initiatives with a strong emphasis on process, data, and technology.
- Form and share informed views on market trends and CHRO priorities in the region.
- Engage confidently with industry leaders and analysts.
- Propose solutions, investment ideas, and external-facing content such as publications, speakerships, and analyst interactions.
- Create blogs, white papers, and other written materials for both internal and external audiences.
- Use social media and digital channels to strengthen Wiproâs brand and professional visibility.
