ServiceNow Project Manager Overview

Company Name Wipro
Job Role ServiceNow Project Manager
Qualifications Not Specified
Category IT Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location London

This role is for an experienced ServiceNow project leader who can guide a major transformation program for a strategic enterprise client. The work is broader than a simple platform migration: it involves moving highly customized legacy processes toward standard out-of-the-box ServiceNow workflows, combining two older ServiceNow environments into a new strategic platform, and introducing new business processes into ServiceNow for the first time. The position calls for someone who can combine strong delivery leadership with deep ServiceNow knowledge, transformation thinking, and confident stakeholder management.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end ServiceNow transformation efforts across multiple workstreams and delivery tracks.
  • Own the roadmap for adopting the new ServiceNow instance and onboarding business processes onto it.
  • Ensure the program stays aligned with out-of-the-box best practices and broader platform standardization objectives.
  • Set up governance routines, progress reporting, and milestone tracking for leadership visibility.
  • Oversee ITOM activities such as discovery, service mapping, and alignment of CMDB and CSDM.
  • Drive ITSM delivery across incident, problem, change, and request management processes.
  • Support end-user computing and service desk go-live activities.
  • Manage the move of processes from legacy ServiceNow instances into the new platform.
  • Cover related areas including software asset management, hardware asset management, patch management, and reporting.
  • Oversee software development lifecycle controls and related governance.
  • Support service request management end to end, including customer service operations, cloud onboarding, and associated request flows.
  • Contribute to service level management and incident/problem management, including DWS-related work.
  • Handle eDiscovery and cyber-hygiene activities, including work connected to Brinqa.
  • Support product portfolio management and application portfolio management initiatives.
  • Contribute to integrated risk management, governance, risk, and compliance workstreams.
  • Support operational resilience, disaster recovery, and portal-related initiatives.
  • Oversee workflows for data loss prevention, access management, and SAP integrations.
  • Work closely with client leadership, architecture groups, and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare steering committee updates, manage risks, and handle escalations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and cloud teams.
  • Identify day-one risks and transformation dependencies early.
  • Create mitigation plans for deviations from standard ServiceNow design, CMDB data issues, and onboarding or integration risks.
  • Drive adoption and change management across business units.

What the role requires

  • Strong overall IT background with substantial project and program management experience.
  • Deep practical expertise in ServiceNow, especially across ITOM, ITSM, CMDB, and CSDM.
  • Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow transformation programs rather than only simple migrations.
  • Clear understanding of out-of-the-box versus customized ServiceNow implementations.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes and governance models.
  • Exposure to end-user computing and service desk transformation programs.
  • Preferred experience with SAM, HAM, IRM, and GRC modules.
  • Preferred experience with ServiceNow integrations such as SAP and cloud workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methods is an advantage.
  • Prior work in financial services or another regulated environment is preferred.
  • Project management is listed as the mandatory core skill.
