This role is for an experienced Salesforce techno-functional analyst who can lead complex change work in a banking environment. The position sits within a major transformation setting and calls for someone who can oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while bringing strong business analysis capability, technical Salesforce knowledge, and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders. The role is based in Manchester and follows a hybrid working model. Day-to-day working will vary depending on the needs of the role, the business, and the client, and will involve a mix of company offices, client locations, and home working. The arrangement is not fully remote, and the expectation is that the role cannot be carried out from home all of the time.

What you will be doing

• Leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Salesforce-related projects, particularly within banking and financial services.
• Playing a central role in shaping complex Salesforce-led transformation programmes.
• Acting as a force multiplier for delivery teams by improving how work is planned and delivered.
• Taking ownership of business analysis outcomes across programmes that involve several teams and multiple vendors.
• Using agentic AI, automation, and modern delivery tools to improve speed, quality, and decision-making throughout the change lifecycle.
• Working as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and partnering with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Change Leads.
• Ensuring that solutions are strategically aligned, operationally sound, and ready for execution.
• Owning complex business areas from discovery and requirements through to technology delivery and measurable business outcomes.
• Converting complicated business needs and colleague journeys into clear technology requirements, features, and user stories.
• Challenging senior stakeholders where needed, helping drive decisions, resolving uncertainty, and removing blockers that affect engineering delivery.
• Collaborating across Product, Business, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Integration, and Testing teams in Agile delivery environments.
• Identifying dependencies, risks, and gaps across programmes at an early stage and pushing them through to resolution.
• Supporting and directing other business analysts while helping raise the pace and quality of delivery across the programme.

• At least 10 years of practical Salesforce experience, with deep knowledge of CRM platforms and large enterprise implementations.
• Substantial experience in banking and financial services, including awareness of the regulatory and control environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Data Cloud, plus a solid understanding of Agentforce capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading major workstreams in large Salesforce transformation programmes, not just participating in a BA support capacity.
• Ability to take full ownership of complex business areas from discovery through to delivery and business impact.
• Strong capability in translating business needs and user journeys into technology requirements, features, and actionable user stories.
• Confidence in working with senior stakeholders, driving decisions, handling ambiguity, and clearing obstacles that slow engineering progress.
• Experience working across product, business, architecture, engineering, data, integration, and testing disciplines within Agile delivery models.
• Ability to spot cross-programme dependencies, risks, and missing elements early and drive them to closure.
• A senior delivery leader who can work independently, provide direction to other analysts, and materially improve programme speed and quality.
