What you will do

• Design and roll out bespoke workflows for distributed trading systems where speed and reliability are critical.
• Configure and connect the platform’s modular building blocks so that each implementation matches the client’s operational requirements.
• Take on a product-minded role by defining and shaping smaller delivery increments through a micro-product-management approach.
• Partner closely with front-office users and technologists, including traders, quants, IT teams, and business stakeholders, to uncover how they work and turn that understanding into practical technical designs.
• Own delivery across the full lifecycle, from requirements through timelines and quality control, while coordinating across different stakeholder groups.
• Bring real-world client scenarios back into the product and engineering process so they can influence future design choices and integration approaches.
• Write light code when needed in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C# to support integration or customization work.
• Act as a technical engagement lead and solution architect, helping clients arrive at workable solutions that fit their business and technical environment.
• Work at the point where business rules, architecture, and client delivery meet, helping ensure the technology is useful in live market settings.

What the role calls for

• Five or more years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or solution architecture in complex enterprise environments.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems, including how to diagnose issues, tune performance, configure services, and support large-scale platforms.
• Experience working in real-time or high-throughput environments, ideally within capital markets or another similarly time-sensitive field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and guide both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working with databases, especially SQL, along with scripting knowledge that supports integration and customization tasks.
• An advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience gained through hands-on work.
• Experience delivering software directly to customers, whether through integration work or development.
