What you will do
- Take the lead on both advisory and delivery engagements, supporting clients from the earliest transformation discussions through to the full delivery lifecycle of Workday programmes.
- Help clients define their solution architecture and design end-to-end processes that are enabled by Workday technology.
- Guide the functional design, prototyping, and process design stages of Workday implementations.
- Work with clients to identify issues in business processes, technology, and integrations, then recommend suitable solutions.
- Contribute to projects that help clients reduce operating cost while improving innovation and enterprise capability.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex transformation needs into practical outcomes.
- Support the continued growth of Deloitteâs Workday consulting capability and help strengthen the finance practice.
- Plan and deliver the teamâs work, making sure scope, outputs, and deliverables are managed effectively.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and stakeholder management.
- Recognise and manage delivery risk in ERP programmes.
- Support an inclusive team culture and help develop colleagues through both formal and informal coaching and support.
What you need
- Experience in ERP, EPM, and cloud computing, including knowledge of storage, platforms, and data.
- Relevant experience in finance technology or a similar field.
- Ability to turn business requirements into detailed system, application, or process designs that cover both functional and non-functional needs.
- Good understanding of Workday transactional data flows, along with the ability to support data migration work.
- Experience designing and implementing ERP systems.
- Professional certification in Workday Finance, FDM, and Engagement Manager.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage scope and deliverables for a team.
- Experience managing stakeholders and building strong client relationships through effective communication.
- Understanding of risk in ERP delivery projects.
- Ability to work well in an inclusive team and help develop others.
- At least four end-to-end Workday implementations.

- Knowledge of modern automation approaches, continuous integration and deployment, and cloud delivery models.
- Confidence discussing technical topics with business audiences and business topics with technical audiences.
- Ability to explain complex ideas in simple language so they are accessible to wider audiences.
