What you will do

  • Develop and execute local social, digital, and influencer marketing plans for theatrical releases in the UK and Ireland, ensuring they support wider campaign goals and commercial performance.
  • Create data-informed social media strategies for each UK release, making sure local activity stays aligned with global marketing direction.
  • Build and maintain a long-term content strategy for Amazon MGM’s UK social channels, with a focus on theatrical marketing priorities.
  • Come up with original digital storytelling approaches and creative ideas that resonate with audiences in the UK and Ireland.
  • Plan editorial calendars and amplification tactics for theatrical campaigns and events, keeping content delivery organised and timely.
  • Monitor emerging trends and audience behaviour, then use those insights to improve campaign relevance and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate closely with marketing and PR colleagues to strengthen campaign messaging and maximise overall impact.
  • Own the local content marketing process from strategy through execution, including planning, delivery, and continuous optimisation.
  • Oversee the production of local content by preparing briefs, reviewing edits, and carrying out quality checks before release.
  • Manage production schedules so that content is delivered in step with local marketing plans and release timelines.
  • Experiment with new content formats and platform opportunities to improve engagement and campaign performance.
  • Review performance data and use the findings to refine content and marketing strategy.
  • Keep productive relationships with external partners such as agencies, freelancers, and other contributors.
  • Build and manage a creator network for content marketing activity and local campaign support.
  • Negotiate and activate creator collaborations for local marketing initiatives.
  • Track creator results and use performance data to guide future partnership decisions.

What you need

  • Fluency in English, including speaking, writing, and reading.
  • Hands-on theatrical marketing experience within the industry.
  • A strong record of success in marketing or social media roles at global media organisations.
  • Good knowledge of the UK and Ireland media landscape, including cultural trends and audience behaviour.
  • Strong analytical ability, with the confidence to use data to improve performance.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous priorities is an advantage.
  • Experience working with filmmakers, talent, and influencers is an advantage.
  • Broad understanding of theatrical marketing and the digital channels used in this space is an advantage.
