What you will do

• Design end-to-end data architecture solutions that are aligned with the client’s business goals and technical needs.
• Develop cloud-first data solutions using platform services, serverless components, and container-based technologies.
• Build reliable data pipelines that support both batch processing and streaming use cases.
• Work closely with clients to understand their data estate, current challenges, and future requirements.
• Contribute within Agile delivery teams that use Scrum practices and operate in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Skills and experience needed

• Hands-on experience creating production-grade data pipelines using Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of AWS data and analytics services such as EMR, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Experience handling both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Good scripting skills and the ability to integrate with APIs.
• Understanding of best practice in data visualisation and reporting.
• SC or DV clearance is required, or you must be able to obtain it in the near future.
• The employer will consider candidates who are likely to become clearable soon, specifically UK citizens who have lived in the UK for more than five years, have not spent more than 30 days outside the country in any of the last five years, and have not been outside the UK for more than six months in any calendar year.

Nice-to-have experience
